As an osteopathic family physician, I believe that it is important to treat the whole person including mind, body, and soul to achieve health, not only avoid illness. I find it very fulfilling when caring for people throughout their lifetime from newborn to advanced age, and cherish the opportunity to experience such milestones with them.

The number one reason most people go into healthcare is wanting to help others. I wanted to help people lead healthier lifestyles and hopefully prevent chronic health conditions. Over time, I realized I enjoy educating others especially young people. As a Physician Assistant, not only can I provide education I can also diagnose and treat medical problems if they arise. Currently, I find it rewarding working with the adolescent population, assisting them in advocating for their own health care and helping give them the building blocks to make the best decisions for their own health.
