I enjoy making meaningful relationships with my patients and their families to better serve their healthcare needs. As an osteopathic family physician, I believe that it is important to treat the whole person including mind, body, and soul to achieve health, not only avoid illness. I find it very fulfilling when caring for people throughout their lifetime from newborn to advanced age, and cherish the opportunity to experience such milestones with them.

Building strong, trusting relationships with patients is a top priority. By fostering open, honest communication and discussing all available options, Dr. Salerno works collaboratively with each patient to determine the best path for treatment or prevention. One of the most rewarding aspects of her work is the opportunity to care for entire families—newborns to seniors—while addressing both individual and family needs. Every patient is treated with respect and compassion, ensuring they feel heard, valued, and well cared for during each visit. Outside of work, Dr. Salerno enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her family, exploring all the natural beauty Michigan has to offer.
