My grandmother is an RN.  Her stories and seeing her stethoscope growing up made me want to be a nurse.  In nursing school I knew during my peds rotations I wanted to work with pediatrics too.  Being a nurse practitioner came after always wanting to learn more and expand my skills.  I like to take my time with patients to ensure I understand all their concerns and answer all their questions.
