I was initially inspired to pursue a career in therapy after my experience with a therapist during my senior year of high school. I realized how beneficial it was to have an unbiased person truly listen to thoughts, feelings, fears, and struggles that I had never vocalized to anyone before.  Experiencing that put a fire in me to learn about psychology, human behavior, and how to support others through their own challenges, just as that therapist did for me.  Through my education and personal experience as a patient, my passion for providing patients with a listening ear and compassion has only grown.
